Judith’s choice for this month is a vibrant landscape by Ted Goerschner entitled Spring Thaw. “I really enjoy this lovely rendition by Ted Goerschner,” she says. “Before his death, he often visited at the gallery, and talked about his love for the Sierra Mountains. He would take students there for a workshop, along with his trusty old dog who always was at his side.  Ted was generous with his paint, telling students to ‘paint like you’re a millionaire’. “

This month, staff member Kathy has chosen a vintage crystal chandelier. She says: “One of my favorite cities to visit is New Orleans, and this beautiful chandelier that features unique blue crystals would look right at home hanging in a Garden District mansion. Every time I look at it, I can just hear the music from Bourbon Street.”

Misty has chosen a stunning Biedermeier bibliotheque this month. “True Biedermeier furniture in this condition is a rare find in today’s market and this is one of the best examples I have seen,” she says. “It is impeccable. The wood grain is breathtaking. Its inlay is finessed and the ebonized accents set it off perfectly. The overall design just leaves me in awe. I wish I had room in my home for a piece like this!”

“My pick this month is a small decorative desk clock,” Michael says. “It has beautiful swirled purple & lavender glass & decorative gilt sterling silver accents. It has an open view movement that provides an interesting look at how all the clock parts interact. This would be a charming addition to any desk top.”

The last Staff Pick this month is a gorgeous sapphire and diamond bracelet. “I chose this because I love sapphires and diamonds together,” Vida says. “With 5.50 carat total weight of sapphires and 2.70 carat total weight of diamonds, this bracelet has no shortage of sparkle.”
