The above set of chairs is Kathy's staff pick for February. "These chairs are true, American made luxury for your home. They were hand made by Karges of Grand Rapids, Michigan. These 8 perfectly matched dining chairs are carved walnut with golden accents and dark blue satin upholstery. The Louis XVI style would be a perfect compliment to both an antique or modern table."
The earrings shown below are Vida's staff pick. "These are a beautiful treasure from Italy," she says. "These earrings feature 6 Tahitian pearls with a pear shaped diamond nestled below each center pearl for a total of 0.40 CTW, and an additional 208 diamonds for another 7 carats total of diamonds."
Misty's choice for February is an Edison phonograph. "This Edison Diamond Disc Phonograph is a rare item," she says. "They were only made from 1912 to 1929, and featured a unique permanent conical diamond stylus. It comes with a complete library of music, 71 two-sided diamond discs, totaling 142 titles! All of the discs are conveniently stored just beneath in the cabinet."
Staff member Lori has chosen a unique Wells Fargo stock certificate. "This stock certificate is from 1970 and is engraved by Herb Ficter. I love it!"
Judith's choice for February is Gene Register's painting Tropical Trio. "Gene Register dramatically captures the viewer's attention with tranquil beauty and exquisite precision," she says. "The vivid portrayal of the birds is so life-like, setting them against the softness of their surroundings. Gene's professional career included time as an illustrator, gallery owner, and art instructor at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. His teaching spans a total of 26 years. This painting will enhance any home, bringing beauty and elegance, as well as quality to any art collection."
