The above painting by new gallery artist Elena Rezayeva is Judith’s staff pick for August. “I am very excited about the new paintings that I have received from Russia by Elena Rezayeva,” she says. “She is noted for her works of ballerinas in colorful costumes, completed in a loose impressionistic style. This Darville Paris tall case clock is an 18th century treasure. Misty says: “This clock is a showstopper with its cartouche numeral dial and its parquetry inlay. The closer you get to this clock, the more the fine detailing pops. I encourage you to magnify the pictures, or better yet, visit it in person! This exquisite clock dates from 1770 and is signed on the movement and dial.”
