Description
Antique French Art Nouveau Daum Pate De Verre glass fig leaf dish, circa 1910. This Art Nouveau dish was crafted by Daum in the Pate De Verre method with green, brown and amethyst glass. The Daum glass dish takes the form of a fig leaf with figs at the stem and chameleon at the tip. Daum is the only registered crystal manufacturer using the Pate De Verre method. With this technique they take crushed glass and pack it into a mould, then fire it in a kiln to create the art glass piece.
