Description
Antique English pair of sterling silver George III royal bowls by Robert Sharp, circa 1797. These footed bowls are gadrooned, with floral and foliate design, ribbed and chased sides with engraved crown flanked by initials G & R for George Rex, by Robert Sharp perhaps commissioned by the king as a royal gift. Similar items are in the British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum.
