Estate Ethiopian opal ring, circa 1990. This custom made platinum ring boasts a fine quality Ethiopian opal at 5.15 carats that is an elongated rectangular cushion shape double cabochon cut measuring 16.50mm x 9.95mm x 5.4mm. The opal is accented with 36 pave set full cut diamonds at .70 carat total weight. The diamonds have SI1-2 clarity and H-I color. The ring’s gallery is hand pierced. This stunning opal ring weighs 6.5 grams, is a size 7, and is appraised at $5,400.
