Antique H Campion pair of watercolor paintings, dated 1868. These antique watercolors are signed on back by H Campion (born 1839) and marked Desaos Inc 1868. These antique paintings depict wood nymphs, one with a cherub, and one with a fawn. These Campion paintings have walnut frames.

About H Campion
Born in England in 1839, Campion studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. He traveled to America in the late 1860’s. From 1868-69 he painted in Virginia City, NV. He then headed to the West Coast where he maintained a studio in San Francisco from 1871-76. He made painting trips to various parts of California & Oregon, and around 1900 headed back to England. His works include landscapes, portraits, and still life’s.
