“Solvang Antiques Fine Art Gallery has a new exhibit featuring works of John James Audubon and John Gould as well as a 1589 map of the Pacific by the father of cartography, Abraham Ortelius,” said Judith Hale, of Solvang Antiques.

“With plans to further expand importance and recognition of our art gallery, we are very excited to welcome these new pieces to Solvang Antiques,” said Hale.

The new exhibit features pieces from various renowned artists of the mid-to-late 1800’s, such as Audubon, Gould and Karl Bodmer. Included are original prints from Audubon’s Octavo Edition, Gould’s hand-colored lithograph, “Family of Hummingbirds,” and Karl Bodmer’s hand-colored aquatint, “Fort MacKenzie” from “Travels in the Interior of North America.”

The new exhibit is currently available for viewing and purchasing at Solvang Antiques, in Solvang, Calif. They are also available online at www.SolvangAntiques.com.
