This year's Spring Art Show is going on now! This week, we're pleased to be featuring talented artist Lynelle Echeverria.
Lynelle Echeverria is a native of California. She grew up on a ranch rich in rural experiences. Upon graduating from high school, she attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, majoring in Biological Sciences. This knowledge and lifelong love of her surrounding environment are richly depicted in her paintings.
She has attended the California Art Institute and studied with several prestigious Western artists. Lynelle has been an active member of Women Artists of the West since 1989. Her pieces hang in collections both nationally and internationally.
“I have always loved the animals and environment that surround me in California," she says. "Having lived on a ranch all my life, I have had the opportunity to study both the livestock and the wildlife during the many hours I’ve spent among them on horseback. I try to convey through my paintings this beauty and the story of contemporary ranch life that I love.”
Lyn currently lives with her family on a working cattle ranch in Central California.
